Bio
Hailing from Roswell, New Mexico, Gerina grew up as a multi-sport award-winning athlete in both golf and volleyball. After winning her high school state championship in golf in 2003, she signed on to play at the University of Texas at El Paso, where her game reached new heights. Winning 4 tournaments her senior year, she went on to be the 2007 Conference USA Champion, player of the year, and UTEP Female Athlete of The Year.
In 2009, she finished runner-up on The Big Break, and earned her full playing privileges on the LPGA Tour in 2011, and married fellow Secret Golf PGA Tour Player Martin Piller that same year. A fiery competitor, she has played in 3 winning Solheim Cups in 2013, 2015, and 2017, most notably sinking a clutch 12 footer on the 18th hole in 2915 to keep the American team alive.
