Secret Golf Introduces Innovative Player Channels

PGA Tour and LPGA Tour players share their secrets on golf’s most unique learning experience

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. (November 21, 2016) – Secret Golf’s innovative Player Channels are golf fans destination for a personal connection to learn and enjoy the inside game of championship golf. The first set of the digital media platform’s cutting edge, individualized stations, featuring Stacy Lewis, Pat Perez, Colt Knost and Jason Kokrak, are now available at secretgolf.com.

On Secret Golf’s Player Channels, touring professionals and major tournament winners offer fans unique insight based on experiences and anecdotes of life on Tour, both on and off the course.

“The Player Channels are one of the most exciting new things in golf instruction,” said Secret Golf founding member and 1995 PGA Champion Steve Elkington. “They really are like a video book that gives the average player an inside and in-depth look at everything a Tour player really knows.” “It’s like a backstage pass when you go to a concert. It’s exciting to go behind the curtain and see what is back there.”

Each Player Channel offers something unique. Stacy Lewis, a two-time major tournament champion (2011 Kraft Nabisco Championship and 2013 Women’s British Open) and 11-time LPGA Tour winner, provides the first indepth platform for a world-class female touring professional.

“This is a huge opportunity for me to share what I work on,” she said. “Hopefully, we can help people with their game, get better and learn about me.”

Pat Perez, who recently won the OHL Mayakoba Classic to earn his second PGA Tour victory, emphasizes individuality. “Everybody does it differently,” Perez said. “Not one swing is the same and not everyone thinks the same. If you watch Player Channels, you are going to pick up something that is like you.” Jason Kokrak, the sixth longest driver of the golf ball on the 2016 PGA Tour, takes it deep on his Player Channel while also demonstrating, with guidance from Secret Golf teammate Jackie Burke, that a bomber can also putt.

“I am one of longer guys on Tour,” said Kokrak. “That is what everyone wants to do, hit the ball far.”
In contrast, Colt Knost demonstrates that straight and steady play also works. “A guy can relate more to me than trying to swing like Dustin Johnston, Tiger Woods or anyone,” Knost remarked. “They are not capable of doing that and neither am I. I get it done in a different way.”

The Secret Golf team is comprised of major tournament winners (Steve Elkington, Jackie Burke, Jason Dufner and Stacy Lewis), PGA Tour tournament winners (Jason Gore, Ryan Palmer and Pat Perez), current Tour players (Colt Knost, Jason Kokrak and Gaby Lopez of Mexico), and teaching professional Bradley Hughes of Australia, a former Tour player who played on the International Team in the President’s Cup.

Each member of the Secret Golf Player Team will have a dedicated channel, which will allow fans to have direct connection to their favorite players. In the show’s two seasons, Elkington and members of the Secret Golf team traveled North America in his custom mobile estate, “The Big Show”, in search of the hidden, untold stories in the world of golf. Previously, season two was aired on CBS Sports Network.
